Early Life

Ifan's origins trace back to the First Mountain, where he spent his formative years. Here, he forged lifelong connections with his peers, including Clia, Bodan, Aren, Enya, Cian, Maura, Ronan, and Keiran. For twenty-five years, they collectively underwent rigorous training in diverse combat techniques, healing arts, magic, and extensive knowledge of the world's history and culture. Among his many skills, Ifan's proficiency with a sword shone the brightest.
At the age of sixteen, this group of young individuals embarked on a life-changing ritual, binding their very souls with the spirits. This mystical ceremony, however, claimed the life of Bodan, who, through a profound bond with his twin sister, Clia, saw his soul merged with hers. Bodan's unique manifestation allowed him to exist in the physical world, fighting alongside his sister.
Ifan, like his fellow Dyads, experienced a transformation as well. His soul became intertwined with that of the spirit named Sri, resulting in the loss of his sight. However, this apparent setback bestowed upon him the ability to perceive the world in an extraordinary way, sensing every event transpiring around him simultaneously. This heightened awareness transformed him into a formidable swordsman, capable of reacting with unparalleled precision and speed.
Over the next nine years, the Dyads honed their newfound abilities, fostering a deeper connection with their spirits. Upon completing their training, they relocated to Avoria City. Yet, they soon discovered that their extraordinary powers and unique bond with the spirits made them outsiders in the eyes of the city's inhabitants, who regarded them with fear and mistrust.

Finding the Child

During the final year of their training, Ifan and his fellow Dyads were entrusted with a critical mission. They were tasked with locating a child of exceptional power, considered a pivotal weapon that could alter the course of the world. This quest proved arduous, spanning nearly a year, and ultimately led them to a Kol'darian tribe.
The tribe staunchly opposed the idea of relinquishing one of their own to the Avorian Empire, and resistance was met with force. In this dire confrontation, Clia led the raid, and the Dyads, including Ifan, fought relentlessly against those who stood in their path. The tribe's members met a tragic end, with the sole exception being a young girl.
Ifan, recognizing the potential and significance of the child, took her under his protection. The girl, named Diana, was subsequently adopted by Keiran, becoming a cherished part of their close-knit group. In a role that bore immense responsibility, Ifan assumed the mantle of Diana's personal guard, safeguarding her well-being and future.
