Personal history

Sierra Rayne Emerson was born to parents Charlie Emerson and Phaedra Emerson at the [Southern Galt General Hospital] in Galt, Kanskownpqey. She was the fifth born child in her family of ten siblings, though awkwardly spaced in age - her brother before her, Terry, was five years older, and her sister after her was not born until Sierra was six.   Growing up, Sierra was immediately pegged as a slightly odd child. It almost felt as if she were an old soul in a baby's body, perhaps a soul reborn into a beautiful and young new vessel. Many people, strangers and friends/relatives alike, commented that they could simply look into the child's eyes and see a knowledge-weary adult staring back at them. Sierra was a very serious child, playing in a more hard and concrete way than in a thrilling, exhilarating one.   Due to her calm and quiet nature, would-be friends and classmates tended to avoid her. It may have been for this reason that when one girl, a fellow kindergartner named Tiffany Davis, expressed a curious and excited interest in her that Sierra became fast and long-time friends with her.   As the years went by, Sierra and Tiffany grew to be best friends. When the girls both turned 13 years old, however, their lives took a downhill turn. Tiffany's parents announced their divorce, a decision that greatly negatively impacted their daughter. Two years of struggling to cope with it, as well as a descent into depression, brought Tiffany to take her own life at the age of 15 years.   This act plunged Sierra into a horribly dark time in her life. At school, she got herself involved in drug use, while simultaneously turning her social efforts to make herself more popular. Two years at the top of the school's social hierarchy and mingling with the wrong crowds eventually brought her to date one of the other higher-up students, a boy named Matthew Cronerberry. Several months into her relationship with Matthew went by, and only a few months into her senior year of high school, she discovered she was pregnant.

Employment

At the age of 16 years, Sierra was recruited to the Butterfly Task Force as a standard member. This was as a result of showing a uniquely strong and promising capacity for her given powers.   During the switch over, in which Zane took full financial and business ownership, Sierra was promoted to High Chief(BTF). This was due not only to a particular interest Zane took toward her (for romantic and apologetic reasons), but to her exemplary skills as a strategical leader and the strength and control she had gained over her main power, telepathy.   She has never worked another job in the course of her life, and as a result, BTF (or TF) has become a second home, its members her second family.
