Gerald
Guardian of the Library
A tiny two inch dragon with paper like skin and tiny spectacles on his face Gerald is one of the more percululer members of the town. He is a “friend” of Minas and assists him in running the library. He is far more fond of the adventurers and he holds onto the book they use to write up their stories and tales from beyond the barrier as reading material.

Personal history
- Was created by Minas as a familiar to guide and watch over the library
- Whenever Minas was away he was responsible for the protection of the library and as such has direct control over every aspect of the magical devices within
- Unfortunately one day, while Minas was out gathering new research materials the library was attacked by angry villagers, unable to hold them back any longer Gerald actived the emergency teleport within the library, this in essance, picked up the whole library and moved it somewhere random, this random location was the Isle of Myst
- Minas was unable to find the library for a long time,so Gerald was left alone to protect it, he did his best but many areas fell to ruin, the Guild assisted him in cleaning the area and destroying many monsters who attempted to damage the library
- Eventually Minas returned, and has been working alongside Gerald since
- With Minas now sick Gerald is desperately seeking a cure, he turned to the guild for help
