Sun God, Chief Spirit Guide Airon

In the beginning each province was led by their own spirit guides and worshiped nothing else. The Prophet Abner went to all the kings declaring that Airon was the greatest of the spirit guides and that the island had to unify under him. He would be the chief among spirit guides (but all the other spirit guides could still be worshipped). The kings didn't like this and it took many years and several miracles to convince them.
Years later, when the Strangers came over the Narrow Water from the Wide World, the kings went to the High Priest of Airon for aid. Airon separated the Isle of Light from the Wide World with magic that is upheld with a Sacred Pact between Airon and the princesses of each province.
