Felwin
"The frigid winters and winds kneel to my power as shall you"
The Ursine Father
Felwin, the Ursine Father, is one of two patron deities of the Felvithar of Norrim and the bondmate to the Divine, Artio the other patron deity of the Snow Elves. Felwin was described as stern but caring god and a valiant protector of his worshippers. It is said when interacting with mortals he would take the appearance of a humanoid being, not so dissimilar from the Snow Elves, and when roaming he wilds would assume his ursine form. In the Age of Divinity it is said that Felwin rarely interacted with the Felvithar people, instead he preferred to seclude himself to keep a watchful eye. When Felwin did commune with his worshipper he blessed them with profound knowledge and the skills necessary to prosper.
Of the three Avatars of Winter, mythical creatures believed to embody the power of Felwin and Artio, the Titanborn Ursine represents Felwin. This familiarly recluse creature is rumored to roam the frozen forests of northern Norrim but over the centuries sightings have become increasingly more rare.
Ascendant
The Ascendant, mortals blessed with immense divine powers, of Felwin were said to be masters of melee combat and fought with unrivaled tenacity. Their unique abilities allowed them to shift into the form of that of a great bear equal to that of the Titanborn Ursine; their physical capabilities were also greatly enhanced as they could both deal and take a great amount of physical damage.
Realm
Boreus is the realm shared by both Felwin and Artio and resides within the plane of Aetherius. Boreus is described in ancient Felvithar texts as a quaint realm of everlasting winter, however, while one might expect a frigid hell of inescapable frost, the realm is said to be the exact opposite. It is a place of soothing winds and comforting serenity, where snow falls gently and magnificent ice structures flow throughout.

Personal history
Like most of the Divines, Felwin made himself known to mortals in the final years of the Dragon Era. With his bondmate Artio, Felwin would take an interest in the Felvithar people and would guide them into a prosperous future. For centuries he would do so, though in a more reserved manner, and watched as his worshippers flourished. However, after the Incursion, a horrid event of near apocalyptical proportions, Felwin much like the rest of the Divines vanished with little trace and has been silent for centuries.
