Cannis
Structure
Cannis follows no strict organizational hierarchy, instead being completely dependent on the core values instilled and held by its inhabitants.
Culture
The main focal points of their values revolve around altruism, teamwork, loyalty and peaceful resolution.
Residents who prove that they do not hold these values, or fail to uphold them are sent on quests of self discovery, to help find the latent goodness within themselves, urging them to come back once they have found it, if they wish. This system, along with the intinsic aptitude the Shoony have for diplomacy have proven so successful, that Cannis has never seen war.
A yearly tournament named the Hosagut is held in Cannis, pitting hopeful contestants against each other in a series of trials, reaching from endurance races to logic puzzles. The victors are then celebrated and showered in attention for the following week in a festival named the Juragut.
Assets
Although Cannis has enough resources for the nation to thrive, they lack both strategic location and precious minerals. This has contributed to the lack of aggression levied towards the inhabitants of the island.

Currency
Found items of perceived value to the Shoony who found it are taken as valid currency for bartering in Cannis, and failing that, a favor or good will does the trick as well.
