Aeus

God of scholars and magic, protection and destruction. Aeus' followers see the pursuit of power and knowledge as one and the same. Aeus is often portrayed in art as what resembles a human head so bearded that only the eyes are visible under a pointed hat, the eyes being one black, one white. There exists no formal church of Aeus, but often individuals who have followed his advice far will form conclaves and circles, with which to share knowledge. This is the origin of most if not all the the arcane libraries in Isera, which are now in great demand, following the return of magic.
