Orc

Language of the Orcs

This language is comprised of screeches, grunts, and grinding of teeth that often cause pain by those that attempt to speak it above what is considered a whisper. Common speakers of this language are Orcs, Elven Rangers that specialize in hunting Orcs down and Human Barbarian tribes of the far north that have uneasy alliances with their brutal neighbors. The script for Orc appears to have influence from the Elvish script but this is adamantly denied by Elven scholars due to a war that has raged on and off for thousands of years between the two species.   The earliest appearance of this language is unknown, shrouded in mystery much like the appearance of Orcs as a race. Some argue that Orcs are descendants of the Ancient Fey, another offshoot from the innumerable descendants of the first race to appear on Isekai while some argue that they are a recent mutation with a strong relation to Elves or Humans. The script used by Orcs uses a shape structure that shares similarities with the Elven script but is usually inscribed with a harsh, heavy hand that indicates the physical act of writing it may be similar to how Dwarvish script is written. The structure of the script is likely to be the least studied in all of Isekai due to a lack of interest among most scholars and a barrier of aggression from the Orc race towards outsiders. This language has a large presence but it is spread mainly through areas of heavy conflict where Orcs engage in outright warfare with other races, only a few small societies have been cited as forming uneasy alliances with Orcs due to a necessity from both sides for survival.   The advantages of speaking this language depend on your relationship with the Orc race, as Rangers might know this language in order to scout and spy on their enemies for intelligence purposes. On occasion, a Human or other race might know this language because they have earned the respect of an Orc tribe or Chieftain. Regardless, Elves will almost never learn this language for a peaceful purpose due to wars that have stretched for thousands of years between the two races. Speaking the Orc language will usually garner disdain in an Elven society because it is considered a vile language and likewise hearing the Orc language in the mouth of an Elf will drive most Orcs to rage instantly.

The history is interesting. I bet it is actually related to Elvish.
