The Age of the Ancients

The first peoples of Iroralis were scattered to the far corners of the continent, in small settlements and villages, or as nomadic tribes with no true home.
This remained true for a number of decades as the population grew and the peoples built more permanent residences one the new ground underfoot. Many kept away from the remaining rifts through to the Elemental planes.
As the populations grew and encountered one another more frequently, a need arose for leadership and co-operation in this still healing landscape. Therefore a council of elders was formed from the largest tribes; which lead to the expansion and building of some of the foundations of the existing cities today; such as the underground city of Phesria, the mountain city of Alyvr and the forest city of El'lahana.
