The Age of Freedom

The leaders of the remaining settlements assembled a council of trusted and proven minds, but the people were accustomed to a singular leader, someone to spear head the council. The council nominated the war hero Enoria Dawnbringer to take the seat, and she humbly accepted, but rejected the title of Emperor or Empress, instead wishing to be addressed as Sovereign if a title was required. With power divided amongst the Sovereign and the council, the leaders cleared their realm of most corruption and brutality. As Verrim was destroyed and the corruption from the fiendish allies still lingered, the decision was reached to move the capital to where it is today; Lath Ny'ithar. The council managed to rekindle trust in magic users again with the formation of schools and regulatory systems, ended slavery and built the fortress of Oracle's Watch, to watch over the Pallid Wastes.
