United Nations of Worlds Workers Day
History
First Declared in April 2667 by Judge Ibrahim
The first day of every April, is Worker's Day, honoring those who have given their lives in service of building the United Nations of Worlds. Special thanks is given to those responsible for providing for the well being of its people. The celebration begins with a morning remembrance of those fallen in non-military service of the United Nations of Worlds
Execution
There is a large parade in the capital city of each UNW planet, though towns and villages unofficially organize their own. It is a day where factories are shut, and shipyards are silent, as those responsible for taking care of the UNW have a day to rest.
Participants
Workers, their families, and government administrators often are either in the large parade directly, or in the audience.
