The Scions of the Storm

The scions of the storm whip themselves, praying, weeping, chanting, to gods that may or may not be there, but this life of monastic discipline is how they think the self is best found. They deprive themselves, and plunge into the mystic arts, claiming to hear the will of the gods in the storm.
They were first encountered by Director Kensh, passing through the L-Gate on Leda. After seeing them fly on static thrusters, or channel lighting to swing as though a jungle vine, Kensh was able to meet them at a storm battered lighthouse.
The Scions of the Storm have agreed to visit this side of the gate, and are currently exploring Ash City, Acastus, chosen for its almost constant rainstorms. It is currently not clear if they suffer an affliction on this side of the gate similar what the Children of Joy experience.
A map of their small sector was discovered during the Greystar age of expansion, and the world's name is Ocrinia.
