Supriya was once a heavily urbanized world, and the remains of vast cities rest on its surface. There are small pockets of settlement on the surface where some small frontier villages have been spared by whatever violence has swept through in the wake of the New Moon Cooperative withdrawal. The governor of this world is a former Cooperative noble who used the chaos of The Scream and subsequent conflict against the Fleshshapers to declare independence and has acted with hostility towards Cooperative scout vessels entering the system. He has gone as far as to board one and take its crew hostage. 
The ship was later recovered, but the crew remains in captivity per last credible intelligence collected. 
In addition to the inhabited world, there is a small gas giant also in the system with a refinery nearby, formerly a ship service depot. There are a few lights on, blinking on comm aerials and other long antenna.
The Duke of Supriya was assassinated by New Moon Cooperative operative Roven Sangrieve in late December, 2669. A revolution gripped the planet's capital city in response, and it is estimated that the government forming after will be amenable to integration into the Cooperative.
In January 2670 a New Moon Cooperative agent did a quick recon to the planet's capital city and has found that there are two civilian factions, as well as the remains of the former government currently fighting for the planet's seat of power.
