Mayor Luminar

Sub-Director Luminar is a relatively new hire to the company. Poached from rival Organic Hyperspace Solutions, he was offered something he never would have been offered at his former employer, freedom. Luminar valued the freedom and untapped potential of a new world, dreaming of grand civil, military, and scientific architecture seamlessly integrated together.
He was formerly the head of Colonial Development, before Greenbriar became the center for the United Nations of Worlds.
A mission to construct a power generation station went terribly wrong, and Luminar was captured and nearly eaten by a warrior of The UnderHill Collective. Despite a heroic rescue, the colony awaited news on his condition for weeks.
Luminar returned to work two months to the day from his attack. Whenever he is not in the muscle assisted bulk of his exo- suit, he now walks with a cane and a slight limp, but he has resolved not to let that slow him down.
Time and the toxin injected into his blood indeed slowed the Director down, despite his vows otherwise. His position was handed to Katya, who was already performing most of the job duties before taking on the title.
Resigned to spend the rest of his now greatly shortened life in pain and dismay, he was offered a precious second chance by the healing gifts of Dr. Doona Ahn.
After a few quiet months recovering and ice fishing, Luminar has been appointed mayor of the newly settled Port Nieu Nieu Rotterdam on Gudrun and the small town around it.
