The Lafiz system is centered around an amber sun reaching the end of its billions of years long stellar life. This remaining life is still measured in millions of years and it is orbited by a barren planet, an inhabitable planet, and a gas giant.
Lafiz is a shield system dating back to the Tenebrian-Black Sun war. The planets in this system are uninhabited by any organic life and have been left in the hands of mechanical caretakers responsible for preparing and defending the worlds for future colonization. Based on initial scans of the system seem to have outposts and monitoring stations set up on each of the stellar bodies. There are no ships under the control of these stellar caretakers but there is evidence of a recent space battle within the system.
