Knight-Commander Dagget

Knight-Commander Dagget was the leader of the breakaway faction of the Temple of the Knotted Wheel. Utilizing traitors from within Justice ranks, he led an almost absolute massacre of Temple of the Knotted Wheel sunblades, with only a handful managing to escape. 
Dagget took his faction into the stars, giving them the name The Brotherhood of Fenris. Their former sunblade hammers were ritually destroyed and recast into the various frost pistols that all order sunblades used from that date on. 
As time went on, fewer and fewer people saw Dagget themselves. Veteran sunblades died, or simply became too old to go into active service any longer. New ones were green boned recruits that had none of the tempering of the original Knotted Wheel traitors, and Dagget's origins became more and more mythical. To the new recruits, he was the mechanical partial godmind of their order, his senses covering clutches of worlds, and information constantly running into his sanctum. 
Dagget and his men manipulated things behind the scenes for years, becoming truly known to the Iron Sectors region when Calidorius Odenburg found his way into Unired Nations of Worlds service. 
Calidorius and Dagget fought in almost single combat in late 2667 when a combined UNW-Greystar Confederacy fleet attacted Sativa. Dagget was killed in single combat, though dispatched Cal's companion Deckard Alfin with a sweep of the MES knife hard wired into his suit. 
After his death, the order disintegrated, and the few survivors have scattered into the wind.
