The Alcippe system is centered around a fading red sun at the heart of this solar system.
From system edge there is a gas giant, a barren planet ringed by meteors, and a world at the edge of the habitable zone. The habitable world has a moon that is frozen under an impermeable layer of ice.
This inhabited world is colonized by tribes of Snow Piggen clustered in numerous small settlements scattered across the planet's landmasses. Ruins also dot the surface of the planet marking places where tribes failed in their attempt to outlast the harsh environment.
There is no evidence of space infrastructure or any ability for them to communicate with the outside galaxy.
