Alcatyl

The system of Alcatyl is a pair of planets that sit far too close to the local sun to support any kind of complex life. One of them is enveloped in dense vapor clouds of toxic fumes, while the other is a dead rock that is baking in the heat.
A large asteroid belt divides the two planets, and a small signal is appearing inside the dense tangle of floating rock. 
The signal was revealed to be a shattered frigate, first found by Jaxton Ryder in March 2668, though extensive damage from collision inside the dense rock zone have destroyed the vessel beyond the point of worthwhile salvage.
