Using the sudden collapse of Imperial Germany, forces of the Kingdom of Poland seize western territories.

While the collapse of Imperial Germany surprised everyone, nobody was surprised more than the Kaiser himself. This made his country vulnerable. Everything could be easily passed and justified, as long as it helped the country in fighting off the threat of Ludendorff and the coup.   Officially polish soldiers entered Greater Poland and Silesia only as a means of defending the area from Ludendorff - which also helped 'free' some loyal forces for the improvised Hindenburg Offensive to retake Berlin. However, once they entered, making them go away proved to very troublesome.   It was made even harder due to the local polish population that began quickly organizing their own administration and armed militia. Greater Poland was officially annexed by Kingdom of Poland a few months later, to great anger (and fear) of the remaining part of Imperial Germany. Silesia, in the meantime, remains centralized under local autonomous government that is tasked with ensuring maximum possible (and uninterrupted) industrial productivity, with the intention of holding referendum after the war ends.
