A man thought to be dead returns.

Rasputin, an infamous monk that according to some was responsible for the downfall of the tsar (and by others was seen as either the symptom of his downfall... or a person that could prevent it, if he was around), returns. Which was pretty surprising to everyone involved, as he was murdered by a group of monarchists back in 1916.   He wasn't the same person as earlier. All those who encountered him - and knew him from 'before' his death - could attest that. Unlike the slightly unkempt (and known for self-indulgence) self from before the assasination, the new Rasputin was always perfectly clothed and impeccably... stylish. While remaining a staunch ascetic. He was also much quieter, even laconic in his speech (not to mention he suddenly began speaking much better), but his devilish charism was only improved.   He was an Awakened. A powerful one. It is believed that it was the Awakening that either saved his life or resurrected him. Now, he was a strange person. One that seemed to lower down temperature with his simple presence (always leaving hoarfrost on every surface when he stays in a room too long). And that keeps wearing pitch black glasses.   First he was ridiculed, but quite soon he managed to somehow worm his way up in the ladder of the Russian Republic. Little is known about him and his plan - he is one of the biggest enigmas of already enigmatic and weird world. What is known is that he quickly become a thaumaturgic advisor of Lavr Kornilov, putting him back in a position to influence Russia as a whole. He soon began creating ice-based thaumaturgies for the Russian Whites.
