Kingdom of Romania joins the war.

Kingdom of Romania - that, until one, was rather... reserved in its policy towards the war - finally joins the Entente.

Romania wanted to exploit the war to achieve some territorial gains. Joining Central Powers could give it Bessarabia that was lost to Russia. Joining Entente might give it Transylvania that currently belonged to Austro-Hungarian Empire. Both options seemed attractive.   In the end the pro-Entente approach won. The final spark were successes of the Russian Empire in the Brusilov Offensive, happening quite close to the Romania and suggesting that Austro-Hungarian Empire was now a ripe fruit, ready to be taken. Unfortunately for them, it wasn't. The Balkan front was now reignited.
