Iron crusade Treaty of Anchorage

Treaty of Anchorage

Political event

United States of America decides to support the Russian Republic government.

The situation of Russian Republic was rather bad at this point, as it was losing the war of industry and manpower against the Soviet Russia. To bolster its ailing forces and preserve the democracy - however meek it was - and prevent the Revolution from spreading, US decided to aid it.   The so called Treaty of Anchorage so signed, granting United States a suddenly expanded business opportunity in Russian Republic - which, together with various concessions, was bound to leave US in a position of power over the Russian Republic for years to come. In exchange, help came. Including food, industrial products, weapons and so on.   Overtime, Treaty of Anchorage was slowly growing into a military alliance dedicated to survival of democracy in Asia, which - while generally an admirable goal - also served to vastly expand current US sphere of influence throughout Asia.
