Another stalemate on the Western Front occurs.

The Hundred Days Offensive showed the Central Powers that US forces couldn't be underestimated. While slightly lagging behind in terms of techmaturgy and without combat experience, they weren't as shellshocked as the European Entente soldiers. They fought well, and kept getting better.   On the other hand, Imperial Germany was superior to Entente in terms of techmaturgy, and were still fighting outside their territory, on the ground they manage to take from their enemies. Two equal sides clashed, and another period of trench warfare occurred. Unlike the first one, however, there were no massive offensives made to bleed the enemy out of reserves. Instead, there was a calm period in the West, with regular skirmishes and artillery bombardment, but without major strikes.   Both Entente and Central Powers were preparing. The former wanted time to get more Americans in the France, while the latter hoped to defeat the Soviet Russia and achieve some sort of armistice that would allow them to regroup their forces west.
