Tale of Two Sisters: Episode 05 - Sersinara

The voyage so far has taken them 23 days. Captain Osier Tydes informs the crew and The Crimson Companions that they will be arriving much earlier than expected, largely due to sailing in favour of the winds. As the day draws to closer to a night. Gnaw'd Rotflesh spots a potential storm brewing in the distance in their direction. As they sail closer, land mass can be spotted in the far distance. Inching ever closer to Sersinara, Osier Tydes makes it known that their plan is to sail alongside the shores and have a bearing as to where they are currently.
The storm opens with light rain, quickly becoming a heavy downpour the closer they are to Sersinara. The winds pick and begins to hold sway to The Expedition. Lila Swan struggles to hold the helm as it spins against her. The waves become more aggressive, the ship meanders up and down noticeably. The Crimson Companions gather to top deck to analyse the situation along with Captain Osier Tydes.
Unable to move the ship, Lila Swan confirms with her Captain that they will have to brace for impact.
With the storms distorting their current path, it's unclear what will happen. The crew & The Crimson Companions hold onto whatever they can. The Expedition suffers hull damage from lightning and comes to a stop onto large shallow rocks. With the crew mostly accounted for, Osier Tydes suggests they wait out the storm whilst the ship is at a standstill, as it seems it's wedged between the rocks. Assessing the hull damage, the ship appears to be fine but is currently immovable.
Early in the morning, the protagonists are given a map by Captain Osier Tydes, with the weather clearing, the shores can be spotted not too far away from The Expedition. A small rowboat is dropped to allow the The Crimson Companions to reach the shores.
Captain Osier Tydes affirms that he will stay with the crew here to fix the ship and get it back into the sea. Having an idea of where they are, he tells them to follow the shores east until they can spot a red fabric tied around a tree and from there to head north. This way, they will reach Verdan Blackwater's camp.

Once on the shores, The Crimson Companions make their way east.
A small attack from small raptor like creatures introduces them to a world of wonder and unknown dangers.
With a day full spent, and no immediate sign of the red fabric, The Crimson Companions decide to make camp further in the jungle as to not get attacked by the shores. The next day, Wilhelm Ironbark comes across a dinosaur-like feline creature that had appeared to have been stalking the party for quite some time. Wilhelm Ironbark makes an attempt to befriend but proves unsuccessful.
Eventually The Crimson Companions find the red fabric, exactly as described by Captain Osier Tydes. The protagonists make the journey up north, hoping to find Verdan Blackwater's camp.
