Drider

Driders are a race of half Shadrin half Spiders these creatures are the spawn of Mythindil. When Fuin created the Shadow Realm inside of the Shadowfell she sent her most loyal lieutenant and her forces to secure it, Mythindil and her people failed and due to this failure was turned into the first Drider along with her followers.   Driders are centaur-like creatures, appearing as Shadrin from the waist up, with their lower portions replaced by a spiders abdomen and 8 long legs. Driders are bloodthirsty by nature, tireless hunters, ambitious and cunning they mostly reside in the caves underneath Fuin's palace. Used as quick raiders they often embark to the material plane to bring back humans to add to the Rothen population.   Ability Score Improvement. Your Strength score is increased by 2 and your Dexterity score is increased by 1   Alignment. Driders are lawful evil valuing the laws that have been put in place by Fuin and Mythindil.   Age. Driders come of age by their 20th birthday and can live up to 750 years.   Size. Driders are much like centaurs in terms of size, usually standing between 9 and 10 feet tall and weigh about the same. Your size is Large.   Speed. Driders have a base speed of 40 feet.   Spider Climb. Driders have a natural climbing speed equal to their normal walking speed. They can also climb on walls and ceiling without a need for an ability check.   Superior Darkvision. Driders are accustomed to the deep dark caverns of the Shadow Realms and as such, they have much better eyesight in darker environments. Your Darkvision reaches to 120 feet.   Shadow Sight. Magical Darkness does not impede your Darkvision.   Shadow Traveller. As a bonus action while in shadows, dim light, or darkness. You can disappear into the darkness and reappear in an unoccupied space you can see within 30 feet. A tendril of inky smoke appears at your origin and destination when you use this trait. You can use this trait equal to your Charisma modifier, regaining all uses at the end of a long rest.   Sunlight Sensitivity. While in sunlight, you have disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.   Catch The Prey. As an action you can make a ranged weapon attack and shoot icy webs at an enemy within 30 feet of you. If you hit the target is restrained by icy webs. While restrained the target takes 2d6 cold damage at the start of its turn. As an action, the creature can make a DC 13 Strength check to fight its way out of the web.   Languages. You can speak read and write Umbral, Sylvan and one other basic language.
