Illidan Valweth
Saint Ilidan Valweth (a.k.a. Holy protector of Valweth)
Illidan Valweth, born from the Valweth tribe head family, lived to see the tribe in its lowest form. Struggling to stay alive, many tribe members had to fight to assure their location in underdark. Having been stuggling to do this since the day Takhisis left, the tribe was set for destruction under the attack of the variety of underdark monsters.
Taking hit after hit from a kingdom of lizardfolk conquering much of the underdark, the numbers of the Valweth drow tribe were dwindling with the years.
Being in such a harsh environment for all their lives, many naturally grew up to be fierce fighters skilled in their abilities. However they were never confident or strong enough to secure a city or position on the upper world, leaving them confined to the underdark.
The idea of the heritage ending within or soon after the end of Illidans' reign devastated him. Having learned of the long and rich history of their tribe, hearing it may soon come to an end he searched in any direction to prevent this from happening.
From attempting to secure new locations in the underdark where they would be safer and many failed attempts to gain a position back on the surface world; Illidan found no success in securing a future for his tribe in its current state.
After failing all these attempts over the course of a hundred years, Illidan felt the only possible salvation left for the tribe would be its original defender, Takhisis.
Praying to her at his darkest hour, against his own expectations, Illidan got an answer. The answer, however, was not as he expected. Read about the deal in the eternal night.
After the tribe accepted the dark bargain, Illidan, while hopeful for the tribe, hesitantly started following Takhisis. Using the night with his tribe to fullfill the first deal in Umbra. It took them four years using solely the night to rebuild the city to its former glory, and restore enough power to Takhisis to allow her to establish an eternal night over Umbra. Thus, for the first time in centuries, the Valweth tribe has found a place on the surface once again.
Spending years and years acting as Takhisis' right hand fullfilling their end of the bargain, Illidan started to convince himself that Takhisis indeed was the salvation the Valweth tribe needed. Leading him to slowly more and more believe Takhisis' cause. However a small nagging point of doubt and guilt for the damage done thanks to his actions gnaws at him even until this day.
