Era beginning/end

The earliest history of the cosmos, before the founding of the planes proper.

The Firstborn gods, primordials, titans, and Demons, waging endless reality shaking war upon one another. throughout the Dawn Wars, the Gods would create Angels from their divine blood, using them as soldiers to wage war against the chaotic elementals, Demons, and Chaos Beasts. during the Dawn Wars, all of the Chaos Beasts were thought to have been slain or imprisioned, save one, who betrayed its kin to survive deep in the elemental chaos. The First Angel, Asmodeus, was tasked with bringing order to the multiverse by Oros, and sent deep into the Elemental Chaos to destroy Demons en mass. eons would pass before the Angel Lord would return to the Higher Planes, bearing the corruption of millennia of demon blood, and elemental chaos wracking his body with endlessly flowing wounds. instead of returning to Oros however, instead seeking out Tharyzdon , a creature of evil that resided in the outskirts of the Higher Planes. Shortly after Asmodus' visit to Tharyzdon the Chaos Lord spawned the Abyss, merging his Corrupted Divine Essence with the Elemental Chaos, near the outskirts of the multiverse. the Demons that infested this part of the Multiverse thrived upon Tharyzdon's essence growing in number and power. it's unclear why, but Primus banished Asmodeus following Tharyzdons betrayal, charging the fallen angel with keeping the Demons of the Abyss in check. the Fall of Asmodeus is considered the end of the Dawn Wars, as much of the planes of the multiverse were fully formed by this point. these events seem directly in conflict with other tales of the founding of time, in regard to other ancient firstborns known as Titans which were bound in service of the Firstborn Gods will.
