An accounting of the time Byron Caine and his fleet of pirates outmanuvered the Reavers and ransacked a number of Voss and Dark Elf temples and cities.

Byron Caine, self proclaimed Lord of the Stormsea, banded together near one hundered lesser vessals to strike at hte Reaver Fleet in a series of hit and run tactics meant to infuriate the Dark Elves and draw them away from their coastal cities. During the Tendays of chase, Caines fleet would lead Reavers into a number of ambushes while Jedek Arkan the Fourth led a smaller secondary group on a raid of the unprotected Coastal cities, ransacking the Temple of Black Sun in the ruins of Kalos. By the time the remaining Reavers were alerted to the raids, and began to give chase, Jedek and his crew had already began to flee south through the Crystal Ocean near the Gate of Heavenly Stars. Near the same time The Wrath had withdrawn back around to Highgate and the Sea of Storms, leaving the fleet of Reavers split and wounded. It was a blow to the Voss that they remain bitter about near twenty years later, marking Byron and any who carried his mark as enemies of the kingdom. those unlucky enough to be captured by the Reaver while bearing the Mark of Caine, are sentencedto a fate worse than the Slave Pits, and often remanded to the Temple of Black Sun, or Strathos to be punished by the Church of Yheia.
