True Ice appears as solid blue, almost crystalien in its apperance sometimes confused with aquamarine or even bright saphires.
Physical & Chemical Properties
True Ice is freezing cold at all times, even the fire breath of certain Dragons cannot melt the substance. True Ice freezes that which it touches as it saps the heat from it with frightening speed.
Origin & Source
True Ice has only been found in the northern most part of Ravan, even Outsiders of the Lower and Higher Planes seek its powerful properties.
History & Usage
History
True Ice fragments have been used for centuries by the Elves, who see it as the purest material to use in construction or weaponry. because True Ice grows naturally, the Elves harvest it and pay it a deep respect, where as the Dwarves see little value in somethign that cannot be forged though they do respect its power.
Discovery
True Ice was discovered by the Elf Rahab during his ten year sojourn in the frozen wastelands of Ravan. The strange ice called to him he claimed, and he brought back several fragments he found nearby the massive glacier.
Everyday use
True Ice is most commonly used in weapons, as its heat draining properties make it dangerous to use as armor. often times True Ice is also used in construction, or holy rituals.
Cultural Significance and Usage
The Elves use True Ice for many of their traditions, who think it to be the purest form of smithing when working iwth True Ice.
Industrial Use
True Ice must be molded by Elven Magic to form, or chissled with Sdamantite tools.

True Ice forges weapons that strike with piercing cold, sapping the heat from its prey. most commonly True Ice is used in weapons, though on occasion it's used in construction as well, being nearly as durable as Adamantite
