Succubus

A breed of Stygian that seeks to corrupt the hearts of men and women for their own personal goals. often working for Demons, Fiends, or Summoners for their own benefit one can in fact 'hire' a Succubus as one can many other Stygians.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Succubus were formed from the essence of slain demons in an attempt to use their chaotic nature against them. as such Succubus take the form of those most desirable, where as their true form resembles a stitched horror of limbs and parts with horns, claws, wings and sometimes tail. While every Succubus is born female, they can go through a brief metamorphosis at any time during their life to change their gender.

Genetics and Reproduction

Succubus use their ability to seduce often, though rarely do they unintentionally reproduce. only when a Succubus has need of or desires to reproduce does a Succubus impregnate or become pregnant. once born an infant Succubus or most often half Succubus, resembles an Efryn in nature though favoring their more hellish features. Succubus pregnancies last less than two tendays, and the infant grows into adolescence by the end of the month, reaching physical maturity by the end of the year.

Growth Rate & Stages

Succubus infants enter a molting stage where they rapidly shed off parts of their bodies as they grow at a rapid pace. an infant Succubus does not yet have full control of their powers of manipulation, and cannot transform themselves though they do have an empathic ability. Succubus adolescents learn the ability to change some of their features hiding their more grotesque features though they cannot yet hide their wings or horns.

Biological Cycle

As Outsiders, Succubus do not age normally, though their half breed infants do eventually become susceptible to the effects of aging the further removed from their Succubus ancestors they are.

Succubus possess an empathic ability that allows them to use their magic to assume the guise of some one their target might find attractive. powerful Succubus can read minds to perfect their disguise.

Born from the stitched essence of Demons, a Succubus guards its true name carefully as it allows any who speak it power over the Stygian.

Relationship Ideals

Succubus seem to enjoy sex to a great deal, often seeking partners when there is nothing to be gained besides hedonistic pleasure from the act. though these mortal partners often die, either afterwards from a dissatisfied succubus, or during as the succubus ravishes them to death.

Succubus can speak both Infernal and Abyssal, as their demonic essence and Infernal heritage grants them knowledge of both upon birth.

History

Succubus were originally created in the Pit of Baathos to serve as spies and assassins to the Nine Hells. underestimating the cunning nature of their new creation however, the Succubi they had made eventually defected and hid themselves in the endless warzone of Gaedaros. Though not loyal to the Demons or the Fiends, Succubus offer aid to any faction that could potentially further their personal goals. Succubus are cruel and selfish creatures, having no true loyalty to any but themselves, and rarely even one another.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Succubus have a tense, yet pragmatic, relationship with the Fiends of Baathos. while the Fiends know better than to fully trust a Succubus, they acknowledge their usefulness and cunning. While it is rare for a Demon to have the sense to approach a Succubus for their aid, it isn't unheard of, and in that particular relationship it is the Succubus who is weary of the Chaotic Nature of Demons, always ready for the Demon in question to attempt to murder or devour them at a moments notice.
