Personal history

Oros is one of two remaining Firstborn gods who helped to shape the foundations of creation. Oros brought balance to creation, drawing iron, bronze, and steel from the maelstrom to forge Axarhia, the Seat of the Firstborn. here his fellow Gods drew plans for new planes of existence to reflect each of their individual traits as Oros had done. The Firstborn worked together to build up Axarhia and their legions, learning from eachother as they pushed into the mealstrom and began their work. Time did not exist at this point, and their work could have gone on for eons before they encountered another being within the chaos. Elementals, fire, earth, water, and wind given form and sentience, waging war against creatures that defied explanation. until this point the Firstborn had only encountered energy in the purest of forms, light and dark, floating bits of matter. It was here the Firstborn were first divided on what to do. some felt that they should aid the suffering Elementals, while others sided with the creatures attacking, that the usefulness of the Elementals in the Firstborns plans was more important. Oros, always the balance between the Firstborn, proposed a compromise. The Elementals would be saved, but their essence would be needed for the work to come, and so were to be imprisioned within Planes of their own for use later. Thus began the Dawn War, the Firstborn waging war against the Chaos Spawn and the Elementals in what seemed like endless conflict, legions of the Firstborns creations died in the Dawn Wars until they began to infuse them with their own Divine Essence to create Angels to serve as their mightiest warriors. Asmodeus, was formed to lead the Angels in the Dawn Wars and bring order to creation. eons later, as the Angelic Legions returned to the Seat of the Firstborn, The Firstborn fell into conflict, their unity had been slowly tainted over time. no longer was it simply a matter of Law vs Chaos, now the Firstborn felt moral drives that divided the ancient beings. Oros was at a loss, for he had no drive as his brothers and sisters did. all that he had desired was order from chaos. Asmodeus proposed the Divine Oath, a Divine Law that would allow the Firstborn and their children to live in peace with one another. Oros, seeing no other path to peace, accepted the deciscion and prompted the other Firstborn to do the same.Shortly after this, Asmodeus and the Dark God Tharyzdon would fall from grace, one imprisioned within the depths of Baathos and the other slain in the Abyss. The Planes had already been divided into sections for each of the Gods, and Mortal souls were crafted in the likeness of the Firstborn and given free will and a set of laws to determine which of the Firstborn would recieve the Divine Sparks of the souls in the end. Mortals who were excomunicated from their Gods were sent ot Baathos as punishment, something Asmodeus had written himself with Oros before the death of Tharyzdon, something which could not be changed without Asmodeus or Tharyzdon present. Each of the First Races were granted immortality, as a gift from their Gods and were expected to return the Spark after a set amount of time on the Mortal Plane. Fate had other plans, and one by one the Mortal races were stripped of their Immortality or traded it away. The loss of their Immortality wounded the Firstborn, they felt they had failed their children. Many of the Firstborn flooded the Seat of the Firstborn to converse with Oros over the unexpected loss of their Essence, blaming Oros who decreed that this was the correct path. Oros, ever strict and lawful, said that this was the way of things. Mortals had been given free will and that could not be changed because the Firstborn did not like the outcome. That was the final meeting between Oros and the Firstborn, as they seceretly plotted against one another, granting their Children boons if they followed their gods will and waged wars on the Mortal followers of their enemies. Oros as since spent his time, keeping balance between the world of Law and Chaos, rarely does the Clockwork Lord weigh in on matters of Morality.
