Mechans

the Manufactured warriors and servants born from Mystrium and complex construction of mortal forms. the Dwarves began the practice eons ago, to honor their dead and preserve fallen heros in times of need for the Argantus empire, though the discovery of Mystrium allows for more readily available construction.

Naming Traditions

Unisex names

Mechan names are chosen often by their personality or proffesion, and tend to all be unisex for those Mechan that choose to identify as a gender at all.

Mechan read and write common, and the tongue of those that constructed them.

Culture and cultural heritage

thousands of years ago during the golden age of Argantus, Dwarven heros would have their spirits encased in metal forms to be called upon during times of war and celebration. after the Long Night and the apperance of Mystrium, others have found the means of creating Mechans with Mystrium cores, no logner needing the spirit of a powerful mortal.

Shared customary codes and values

Mechan are manufactured for specific purposes, often as guards or warriors as they cannot be bribed in most cases.

Common Etiquette rules

Mechan tend to be awkward and socially inept.

Common Dress code

Mechan rarely wear clothing of any kind, but if they do they will wear the clothing of their creators most often.

Birth & Baptismal Rites

on occasion a Warforged is made from the spirit of a fallen hero the Dwarves deem worthy. transposing the spirit into a new constructed body. most often however, Warforged are simply manufactured with Mystrium cores, as servants and warriors.

Funerary and Memorial customs

a Warforged with a hero spirit are mourned by the Dwarves and family, otherwise the death of a warforged is just considered a financial loss.
