Mechanics & Inner Workings

Khazara, is a Sword with an elaborate hilt, designed to hold a miniature Mystrium core, and modified Mystrium Engine containing a Fire Elemental. the Elemental energy and the Mystrium core are designed to ignite the blade in molten fury capable of melting even Adamantine.

Manufacturing process

Black Iron is molded to shape a blade, with a hallow hilt and core to house the engine as well as the green Mystrium. Black Iron prevents Lead from casing the Mystrium as normal, and further increases the danger of the Khazara to the creator as well as its wielder. once the Mystrium core is shaped within the Black Iron, the Rune Engine is placed in the hilt, currently within the Pommel, which is then wrapped in Red Dragon scales.

Significance

A Khazara is another breakthrough of the Wurdgryms blending of science and magics.

Khazara's are still experimental, and very dangerous. as often as the blade ignites properly, it also ignites the Mystrium Core and explodes violently killing the wielder.

Raw materials & Components

Currently, Black Iron is the base component for Khazara blades, with red dragon scale wrapped hilts to prevent the blade from scorching the user. A Rune Engine within the hilt significantly increases the weight of the weapon, and leaves it unbalanced.

Because of the massive amount of heat involved in the function of the Khazara runes, and specially made materials including True Ice are used to prevent the death of the Artisans involved.
