Personal history

Haylos was a Firstborn who was often at odds with the rest of her kin. while she agreed the ordering and construction of the Sphere to be paramount the method in which it was obtained often led to arguments among her kin. Haylos considered Thrayn among her closest allies, while the Warmaster was often aloof he respected her greatly and would frequently second her motions in the debates to be held. When it came time for the Firstborn to create the Mortal Races Haylos would work with Yor to forge the Giantkin to work in Tandem with the Dwarves. Haylos' children were tasked with combating the Dragon infestation upon Irindoth. during the Wars her children discovered an ancient tunnel network that led to a grand underground kingdom that had been hallowed from the earth itself, and while none remembered carving it the Old Kingdom bore the mark of all the Firstborn, as well as another. The discovery led to another debate as the Dwarven pantheon claimed ownership of the vast resources within despite every Firstborn sigil being present. Thrayn's betrayal would interrupt this final council of the Firstborn however, preventing a resolution. after Thrayns fall to madness and death Haylos became distant and distrustful of the rest of the Gods, and was first to leave the Seat of the Firstborn to forge a realm of her own, from which her children would return after their work on Irindoth completed. Haylos would confide her confidence in another however, Fatescribe which had been a close ally of Thrayn. This scribe would reveal a future in which her children were cursed and turned to stone at the hands of Yor's children using secrets they stole from the Old Kingdom. As the Dragon wars came to a close and the Dwarves insistence on claiming the Old Kingdom, Fatescribes words haunted the Goddess who commanded her children to imprison the Dwarves who had trespassed into the Old Kingdom. this sparked a long and bloody war between the Giants and Dwarves that resulted in the Curse of Stone, as the Fatescribe had foreseen.   when Haylos confronted Fatescribe, she accused the construct of manipulating her and her children towards their awful fate, and demanded to know how it had known. The creature refused to answer, though it offered its sympathies as it was struck down by the Matron of Giants. later Iribus would reveal the creature to be in his service, and invite the Goddess to All that Is lost from which she could potentially find a cure for the Curse of Stone which plagues her Children. The Matron of Giants never returned from the hidden realm however.

Mental Trauma

Haylos would come to be distrustful of the other Firstborn following Thrayns fall.

Haylos was a deft tactician in her own right, and held an unwavering moral center that she passed towards her children.
