Black Dragons evolved to be much smaller to fit into smaller caves and hide in the muck of swamps, making them one of the less physically imposing of Dragons, though they adapted the ability for their breath to be acidic melting through even steel in mere moments.They also havea number of bone plates and spikes that aid in their abiltiy to defend themselves, as they can pierce even dargon hide. these bone plates have givin the Black Dragons a nickname of Bone Dragons. Black Dragons are cunning scavangers and manipulators, ambushing and trapping their prey or even manipulating lesser species to do their bidding.
