Belial's lies cannot be revealed through magical means unless done so by Asmodeus himself, though there is a theory that Iribus would also be able to discern the Fiends lies.

Mental characteristics
Personal history
Belial is perhaps the most interesting of the Lords of Hell, as he is still technically Human.Born Ahnad Cimar during the Khoven wars, he served as a cleric for Iribus and was a rumored agent for the Nameless Black. For years Ahnad would serve masters of greater power, using his ability as an Illusionist to mislead and bewilder those closest to him. Never truly faithful to any of his masters, Ahnad betrayed the followers of Iribus and the Nameless Black, to offer valuable information to the forces of Argantus. Disguised as a powerless clerk, fearful for his life Ahnad gave the Dwarves valuable information on how to circumvent the Great Wall of Khoven, which had stalled any meaningful counterattack for centuries. While the attack pressed deep into Khoven territory it was ultimately a failure as Jora Kampfrun would fall from Anir's grace during the campaign. Here As Jora fled and fell into despair Ahnad offered aid, revealing his true nature as an Arcanist he was the one who summoned Jora to Mephistophles, and impressed Mephistopheles and Asmodeus by bringing Anir's champion to their heel. Because of Belial's centuries of misinformation however, there is little known about the Lord of Baathos that can be trusted. This is the story Belial tells most often, filled with a number of facts that contradict other stories of Jora's fall and even Mephistophele's rise to power. While Belial chooses to remain in a mostly Human form as he rules Serus and he insists it to be his true form, there are times when the Hell Lord has taken more vile and unholy forms to intimidate and overpower enemies. What is known of Belial is his ability to misdirect, and his deceptive powers. While the weakest physically of the Nine Lords Belial is a potent Mage. There are rumors, which seemingly grow in popularity, that the pale man that rests in Serus is not Belial, but rather a figurehead that the real Belial has used to further mislead his enemies.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Belial has weathered many failed attempts to remove him from power in Serus, including many of his own failures. each of the civil wars of Baathos have involved Belial in a meaningful way, which make many think that he is the true mastermind behind these power struggles.
Mental Trauma
Belial seemingly lacks the ability to speak simple truths, though all his lies are streaked with the barest hint of truth. This makes it impossible to sift through his words. This has worked against Belial many times, making it increasingly difficult for the Lord of Lies to forge alliances.
Intellectual Characteristics
Belial is well aware of his reputation, and uses his abilities of transformation and shapeshifting to create separate cults of power he uses to influence the other Lords of Hell. For a time, he even posed as a servant of Komia in Gaedaros to make contact with Zarinlyn under a false identity.
Morality & Philosophy
Belial sees no reason to freely give away his secrets, those who are smart enough and cunning enough will be able to sift through his meaning and those who do not deserve their fate in his eyes.
Taboos
Belial's cult are encouraged to feign allegiance to the other Lords of Hell, and other religions in fact. They are never to reveal their true allegiance outside the cabal.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
