Personal history

Be'ar was an oddity that the Ascendants found within the Tomb of the Firstborn, a planar touched Bear that had been infused with a good deal of Divine Essence to be experimented upon. The Khoven was in the process of draining the bear to conclude their studies when the Ascendants freed her, fully prepared to use their magic to subdue the creature only to discover that She was intelligent. While she could not speak, she did manage to communicate through vague gestures her desire to aid the Ascendants in destroying the Tomb and escape to freedom. Pharisane, always the clever one, named their new companion Be'ar. Be'ar and the Ascendants explored deeper into the Tomb of the Firstborn to defeat the Council of Amnul within the Phylactery vault deep within. Afterwards Komia crafted an amulet that could resist Be'ar's burning flames and grant her the ability to communicate telepathically. Be'ar desired to repay her new allies and made her home temporarily within Highgate as it was being rebuilt, vowing to defend it during the Ascendants plan to return the planes to order. Be'ar fought alongside Heinrich before his awakening during the battle for Highgate slaying many of the Mortal Worlds enemies with the stone Golem. After her ordeals in the Tomb of the Firstborn and Highgate Be'ar desired a calm and peaceful existence, and departed alongside her new companion Heinrich to find a home where both could live in peace.
