Manifestation

Magic is the act of channeling energy from the universe to create subtle or extravagant shows of power. The manifestation varies depending on the type of magic being summoned, but most magic requires some degree of Mystrium to invoke the power.

Localization

Magic requires Mystrium to function, the more rich an area is in Mystrium the easier it is to invoke Arcane Magic. it is, however, a delicate balance between too little Mystrium and too much Mystrium such as the case of Narsai where Mystrium is more abundant than water and causes Magic to become volatile. There are exceptions to use use of Mystrium, such as those touched by a powerful outsider such as Warlocks or Mutants who sometimes develop the ability to manifest magic at will or become Psionics.
