Soul Metals

Being as the Soul leaves the body upon death, the ore is actually infused with the energy of the dead. The more dead, the closer proximity, and the more violent the death the better the Soul Metal. Making something from soul metal enhances it is some way relating to death. A lantern made from soul metal can see into the ethereal plane, armor does necrotic damage to those who hit the armor, a weapon does extra necrotic damage. Players also have an advantage to intimidate people who are overly superstitious.
Soul metals are when the dead are buried near a vein of ore. Their souls pass through the ore and leave a residue on the ore. The Dwarves bury all dead, their's or other's, near ore to take advantage of this. The ore slightly glows, making it easier for miners to find and collect all of the ore. This transformation can effect any metal. Dwarven smith's usually ask for bodies to infuse a current vein as well as, at minimum, five times the item's price plus one hundred gold. The infusion process take approximately one year.
