Faulty Dwarf

The presence of the energies of the Elder Gods caused some of the Dwarves creation magic to be infused with that energy, causing the Dwarves that were created by them to be much different than intended. This difference presents itself through the Dwarf's skin, taking on a faint appearance of the stone they were made from, be it faint lines and lighter skin from marble, or darker skin from onyx. This "fault" allows the Dwarf to call upon this power when needed.

Ability Score Increase Your Constitution increases by 1. Then, choose a different ability score to increase by 2 or choose any two ability scores to increase by 1.

Starting Hit Points. When you choose this Ancestry, your hit point maximum increases by 8.   Age. Dwarves mature at the same rate as humans, but they're considered young until they reach the age of 50. On average, they live about 350 years. It is unknown how long they could truly live.   Creature Type. You are a Humanoid.   Size. Your size is Medium   Speed. Your base walking speed is 25ft and is not reduced when wearing heavy armor.   Darkvision. Accustomed to life underground, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.   Dwarven Resilience. You have advantage on saving throws against poison, and you have resistance against poison damage.   Dwarven Combat Training. You have proficiency with the battleaxe, handaxe, light hammer, and warhammer.   Tremorsense. Having a deeper connection to the stone beneath your feet, you have Tremorsense out to a range of 30ft when you are standing on stone.   Stone's Resilience. You have advantage on saving throws you make to avoid or end the Stunned and Paralyzed condition on yourself.   Stone Defense. While wearing no armor, you can use an action to call upon the stone you were created from to protect you for 1 hour. Your skin hardens and takes on a deeper appearance to your stone. Your base AC then becomes 15 + your Constitution modifier. This ability overrides all forms of Unarmored Defense. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier and regain all uses after a long rest.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Dwarvish.
