Ali
The Ali were originally Thaxian slaves corrupted and warped by Amadius into twisted shadow creatures for his own purposes. They kept a lot of the physical similarities with their original form and simply lost their minds to Amadius's influence. Over time and as his magic increased their form twisted even more growing horns, heir skin tone changing, eyes chaging and in some cases completely becoming shadow monsters that he could command.
Since the end of the war, the Ali have changed again. Their physical differences have stayed and their minds have returned to them, but they are often still seen as beings of unnaturalness, darkness and evil intentions. This often upsets many Ali and leaves them giving into those misconceptions and acting as they see fit with little respect for others.
Ali born to these twisted Thaxians are considerably less diverse in their appearance. Their form itself seems to absorb the light around them. Their skin is often dark ashy grays, their hair is often black and their eyes are devoid of an iris. Many have various shaped horns on their head, and many others hands can appear claw like with long somewhat pointed nails.
For the Ali, their background and heritage is unknown. They simply came to be and have existed ever since. Very few of the Ali are aware of another god, their true patron deity who gave 'birth' to their race. Amadius is the true patron deity of the Ali, but the knowledge of his existance is so restricted that many now worship Enkyth.
Because of their connection with Enkyth, the patron deity of the Wan they have something of a close bond with the Wan. They are less likely to attack anyone from the Wan because of this, though they are often still very hesitant to communicate or spend any more time with them than they need to. The only other race that the Ali tolerate is the Cas. Despite being their opposites the understanding and accepting of the Cas helped to ease tensions between them and helped to create a bond.

Amorphous: You can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.

Description
The Ali are a very unique and diverse looking race in Iria. Those who had their form corrupted by Amadius before the war range from still looking distinctly Thaxian to being twisted demonic forms of black shadows. Some of these Ali find it easier to interact with other races, hiding their true race as a way to escape, the others aren't so lucky being untrusted and hated for reasons many don't really understand. Personality
Many Ali have a strong hatred for the world and many other races in Iria from bias taught to them from their parents and the actions of the other races. They are often angry or agressive towards anyone that isn't one of their own and turn against those who leave if they have no real reason to do so. The Ali are generally an attack first question never kind of race, prefering to save themselves from percieved danger rather than save themselves from actual danger.Society
The Ali are a very closed off race, more so than any other in Iria. They rarely leave their own island, rarely speak with other races and do not let others into their community. Because of their isolation they are a very close community, and all work together to achieve everything they need. There is no definitive structure to the way they live, people fill rolls as they are needed and everyone does their part to help where its needed. Within Karis the Ali are calm, kind and helpful to one another, its only away from Karis that they tend to be more violent.Religion
