Gambler
140% empowerment
To onlookers, these individuals may look like madmen, who are only alive due random strings of luck or the whims of the universe. To these individuals, they treat every fight, every situation, every second, as a gamble, where only by risking everything, can they feel the rush of adrenaline and joy as they win it all. These madmen, draw the infinite enjoyment of the spirit of Luck, and through it, his blessing, through which they ascend from mere madmen and risktakers, to certified gamblers, in all fields of life.
Peril and Prospect ⦿
Riding the line of life and death the gambler will frequently use extremely risky tactics mid combat. Such tactics could be anything from taking an attack in hopes of a deadlier counterattack, to trying to slide underneath a wave of magic. Every two successful uses of Peril and Prospect will gain the Gambler one use of Overturn, every three failed uses of Peril and Prospect, will gain the gambler a use of Misfortune.
- The uses of Overturn and Misfortune can stack, but go away after combat has ended.
Overturn ⊕
Through the blessing of the luck spirit the impossible becomes possible, all forms of wild attacks and movements just happen to work through sheer luck. While these skills are inherently martial similar to Peril and Prospect, the primary difference is that regardless of how crazy it is, it is very likely to succeed (but not guaranteed). It is recommended, for most skill made with Overturn, to be impactful, as regardless of how strong or weak the skill may be, it consumes the usage gained through the successful Peril and Prospects.
Misfortune ⊕
While the spirit of luck is primarily known and recognized for good luck, he takes equal pleasure in misfortune and bad luck, and through his blessing Gamblers are able to bestow misfortune on their opponents. This has two primary uses, the first is defensive, in which as a reaction the gambler can bestow misfortune on an opponent attacking them, making some random cause to get in the way of a successful attack (although this is not guaranteed to stop an attack). The other use is offensive, in which as a free action before attacking the Gambler can cause their opponent to unluckily mess up any attempt to dodge or block an attack.
▣ The Gambler is able to inherently see through feints and mid combat bluffs to a higher degree than other classes
