Warrior of Divine ★
Dytos who follow the religion as a whole often find themselves taking up arms made by some of the few scattered blacksmiths within the deserts and take to slaying desert demons who pose an imminent threat to the people of the desert.
Divine Assault ⦿
The Warrior of Divine may make martial techniques with any weapon they please (excluding chains and unarmed). Additionally using their techniques cost no resources, the downsides of this are twofold, the first is that the class skills are fairly weak compared to most other classes and sub classes, the second, is that once a technique is used during a fight it goes onto a cooldown. There are only two scenarios in which a technique leaves cooldown, the first is that all of their other techniques have been used, witch resets the cooldown for all their techniques, the second is the fight ends, which similarly resets all cooldowns
▣ Once warriors of divine finish their rotation and reset their cooldowns they will gain a point of dex for the rest of the combat based on the number of class skills they have. After 2 dex has been gained the Warrior of Diving can choose to reset their cooldowns when they go through half their skills instead of all of them (rounded up).
3-5 = 0.5 dex per rotation (aka they only gain a dex point after 2 rotations)
6-9 = 1 dex per rotation
10+ = 2 dex per rotation
This leads to two primary trains of thought for creating a Dytos character, tall and wide. A tall Dytos, focuses on a small number of select skill to rapidly use during combat and have little time which they are on cooldown due to their small number. A wide Dytos on the other hand, had a large number of skills which can be used in a variety of situations, but expects to only be able to reset their cooldowns maybe once.
Warrior of Retribution ✦
Primarily focused on a singular large tribe (although still much smaller than the Makos tribe) that all align themselves as Dytos, these warriors have dedicated themselves to following the ways of Elarax Har, in doing this they have taught themselves how to use large bulky chains wrapped around their arms as weapons in combat. Additionally, unlike most Dytos, these warriors primarily journey outside of the deserts searching for people or groups who have kidnapped desert people or wronged them. Due to this tribe, it is said that after a few centuries the Dytos as a whole acknowledged their efforts, creating a heightened role within the Dytos referred to as "Retributors" who seek to save the people of the deserts who have been stolen from their land and exact vengeance on the criminals.
The chains of Warriors of Retribution are unusually thick being made at an approximate width of 3 inches. (these chains also have their own proficiency that can only be acquired with this class)
Chain Proficiency - Physical Power 1.5 / Dexterity 0.25
Ravage & Restrict ⦿
the main form of skill usage for Warriors of Retribution, however, Ravage and Restrict are effectively different styles, and only one style can be active at a time. As such, while in Ravage the warrior cannot use Restrict skills, and vice versa.
- Swapping styles takes 1 action and cannot move on the turn styles are swapped (cannot be used during a reaction)
▣ every 2 uses of ravage skills will increase PP and Dex by 1 purely for when the character uses ravage skills. This stacks with itself, but caps out based on soul, Initially the cap is just 1 but every 3 soul the cap increases by 1 (lasts until end of combat).
▣ every 2 uses of restrict skills will increase Vit by 1 as a constant buff. This stacks with itself, but caps out based on soul, Initially the cap is just 1 but every 3 soul the cap increases by 1 (lasts until end of combat).
Ravage ⦿
This style of class skills using their signature chains that can only focus on offensive skills oriented on dealing damage, these skill cannot have components that include utility, defense, or hindering.
Restrict ⦿
This style of class skills using their signature chains that can only focus on utility and defense but is primarily for restricting the opponent preventing them from attacking or acting in any meaningful way, cannot have skills that have a large damage component.
Warrior of Ferocity ✦
On rare occasions after the destruction of a tribe from a desert demon, one or a few orphans survive. It is said that these orphans develop a sort of connection to the Asale, which represents the will of the deserts itself, they grow more bestial, often in the form of sharpened claws and teeth, becoming similar to that of the Desert Demons. Often these individuals will start out hunting Desert Demons simply out of a carnivoristic hunger, but with time they may come across other people, eventually discovering Dytos temples, and attempting to reduce the amount of children that end up like them.
▣ Empowerment raises to 150%
▣ Can only fight unarmed
Feral Instincts ⦿
When the Warrior of Ferocity fights a foe that is physically stronger and swifter than itself it will often choose to continuously simplify its mental state in order to quicken its movements and focus their mind on putting 100% power into every attack. The character can choose to degrade its mental state to becoming partially feral or fully feral, this takes 2 actions to enact. If the character goes into partially feral, they cannot go back to their regular mind state, but they can still further degrade their mental state to fully feral.
Partial Feral :
- reduces mind by 50% (rounded up), 20% of Vit and 20% of Soul (both rounded up) are added together, the character can then split the points to Physical Power and Dexterity in any way they wish (although requiring a minimum of 1 point boosting each stat).
- the character is more susceptible to feints, the character's attacks are more obvious to opponents, the character is heavily focused on their target and is somewhat oblivious to opponents or occurrences other than their target, has a harder time recognizing the voice and actions of allies (aka harder to coordinate).
Full Feral :
- reduces mind by 100%, 40% of Vit and 50% of Soul (both rounded up) are added together, the character can then split the points to Physical Power and Dexterity in any way they wish (although requiring a minimum of 1 point boosting each stat). Instead of doubling soul for being a martial the user instead triples their soul.
- the character is extremely susceptible to feints, the character's attacks are extremely obvious to opponents, the character is extremely focused on their target and is oblivious to opponents or occurrences other than their target, cannot recognize the voice and actions of allies (aka harder to coordinate).
- during full feral outside of the class skills, the character can only attack and act extremely simplistically (for example being unable to feint or perform a multi stage attack).
Teachings of the Asale ⦿
Techniques formed by a combination of instinct, mimicking Desert Demons, and listening to the whispers of the desert itself.
- These class skill always take up the entire turn of the Warrior of Ferocity, additionally, stronger ones will also prevent the character from taking any form of reaction towards their opponent's action towards them.
- almost every form of attack only takes up one action, additionally, the Warrior of Ferocity can have multiple completely different attacks within a single skill
