The Third Great Kingdom of Ithon

The Kingdom of Ithon, or, more formally, the Third Great Kingdom of Ithon, is the great human power of the West. It is dominated by fertile floodplains and rivers which have facilitated great trade throughout the country, as well as a great agriculture industry. 
As the formal name indicates, there have been two previous Kingdoms ruled by the city of Ithon, and the periods between these Kingdoms have been characterised by misery and anarchy for the people of the West. As such, there is significant loyalty to the Kingdom by the populace, with great fears of what could occur if the Kingdom were to fall again. There is a popular prophecy which is spoken of across the Kingdom: "Only a King sitting on the throne of Ithon can prevent the anarchy which follows".
