Hielik, God of Protection, Mercy and Justice

The greatest embodiment of the role of a Paladin, Hielik in life was dutiful, conscientious and just. He was also a warrior of supreme ability, and charismatic to the point of inspiring men to suicidal odds at battle.
His great mortal victory was alongside Ados in the 11th era, fighting in the Azog Crusades. Hielik, alongside a contingent of 200 Paladins protected thousands of retreating refugees in the Eastern plains of Aelham, against an onslaught of 50,000 orcish raiders.
He was a zealous follower of the previous God he mantled, as was beyond honoured to receive the indescribable privilege to ascend to Godhood.

The Tournament of Virtue is an annual, colossal tournament celebrating the virtue of Hielik. Attracting a great many visitors and warriors seeking his fortune, the winner of the Tournament, if judged worthy, receives an immense reward.
