Ados, the God of War and Victory

One of the most popular of the Ascended Nine, Ados was a valiant hero in his mortal life. A great warrior, skilled at both the blade and the bow, he won countless duels and battles across the continent as a Templar. Alongside his blood-brother, Hielik, the God of Protection, Mercy and Justice, Ados saved the Duchies of Aelham from a gruesome fate at the hands of an invading orc horde. Ados himself was recorded as killing thousands of orcs at the Battle of Hadun Castle, slaying the Orc Warlord Uhuk Azog in single combat. This effectively ended the Azog Crusades, allowing the Southern Realms to enter an era of prosperity.
He is constantly prayed to by the warriors of Iqos, especially the Templars and Paladins, who see him as a great source of inspiration and aspire to be but a fraction of the warrior Ados was. A famous warrior group, the Bloodguard, wage a constant war against the orc clans in his name, and pray to idols of him for protection before each battle.
