WORK IN PROGRESS. Welcome to the study of the World of Ipsum! A world centered all around the Kyartan Ocean. I come to you as a humble historian who has created these sets of books and scrolls to take you throughout all of the ages as neutral a perspective as one can in the modern era. The beginnings of the world of Ipsum as we know it today emerged from the time of prehistory where nomadic groups set their roots down. Soon after city states and kingdoms began to emerge and the first borders where created. Quickly these fledgling nations of the Bronze age became quite covetous of their neighbors and set out to conquer them. Nations rose and fell and histories began to be written down by the scholars of the ages, thankfully most of these have survived in some way but many have a distinct perspective from that of their own home nation, often the winners of the conflicts. And so these text do have an inherent bias to them. I shall endeavor to parse these biasies facts from the fiction, but you will have to forgive this humble scholar for any errors as they come. I fear some stories may be too enwrapped in their own cultural perspective for us to seperate the facts from the folklore.                         Message from the Author: Welcome to Ipsum! First and foremost thank you for stopping by and checking out my work! This is a consistent work in progress world that I intend to be my end all be all world across all eras leading up to the equivalent of our worlds early 1900s. While I am still learning the World anvil UI and am horrible about checking on this site I would love to hear your thoughts on what I have so far, any questions or comments are always great fuel for me to keep writing and working on this! Please do keep in mind though this is a hobby project and I am no where near involved in the writing world professionally so I do not always have time to consistently update or respond on this site.   I also feel the need to apologize for my dysgraphia and the likely resulting massive amounts of uncorrected grammatical and spelling errors in my articles. If it bothers you feel free to leave a comment on the article and I will try my best to attempt to fix it.
