Tiamat - Goddess of Chromatic Dragons and Greed (TEE-a-mat)

Tiamat was born into this world alongside her brother Bahamut. The two were created by Ierin, God of Drakes, and Cesaldin banished Tiamat, once Xutos arrived, to the planar realm of Gehenna, where she remains. Before her banishment, Tiamat created the chromatic dragons of the world alongside the chromatic dragonborn. As a response to this, Bahamut created the metalic dragons to ensure that there would always be a force to oppose the chromatic dragons.

Goddess of Greed

In her brief time on the prime material plane, Tiamat hoarded as much treasure as possible in her lair. As the gods were banished from the prime material plane, Tiamat hid her immaculate hoard so that none could find it. Although none have discovered her hoard, Tiamat yearns to return to the prime material plane so that she can reclaim what is hers.

Leader of Dragons and Man

Although many chromatic dragons focus on their own power, some chromatic dragons continue to worship and serve Tiamat after her banishment. These dragons have amassed many followers, promising that if Tiamat is released, they will be able to behold her mighty hoard. In truth, the dragons hope that if Tiamat is released, she will once again unify the chromatic dragons so that they may rule over all of Ipeiros.
