Land Under Siege

The Passat Empire once ranged all of eastern Imali, with their territory stopping once they had taken control of the largest mountain known on Ipeiros, Mount Riraht. The Theocratic Empire of Passat has placed heavy faith in the light pantheon, forbidding the practice of faith in the black pantheon in its entirety. The capital of the Passat Empire, Glavani, is home to the Emporer of Passat, a silver dragon by the name of Resun. The main church to the deity Bahamut is also located in Glavani. Under the leadership of Resun, Passat grew to become one of the most successful kingdoms known. However, when the draconic invasions began, Passat was among the first to fight back. Although they were able to hold back the main draconic invasions, the land of Gaer has been under constant conflict ever since. Passat has stood proudly against the draconic kingdoms, only losing their control of Mount Riraht to an ancient blue dragon named Plavarn, The Shining Thunder. Out of all the countries affected by the rise of the draconic kingdoms, Passat has been the one that has made out the best based on the circumstances.

A Prosperous Empire

The Empire of Passat has been an incredibly stable land, even under siege. The presence of Resun and the followers of the platinum dragon have eliminated most corruption that makes its way into the empire, and as such, the empire is commonly hailed as the most just country known. The empire surrounded its borders with many defensible forts made specifically to protect against draconic kind. The largest military outpost is Fort Breg to protect against northern invasion, and Fort Gortolek to watch over Mount Riraht. However, this is excluding the largest defensible city in the empire, the capital Glavani. Glavani is one the most protected cities in both Imali and Armoria, boasting a large militaristic force, along with defensible structures rivaling that of the dwarven kingdoms. Glavani has also been suited with many draconic fortifications since the draconic invasions began. Due to Passat's prosperity and fertile land, it has become a leading contributor to food exports, around 15% of exported food, to be exact. This has led the Passat empire to become a fairly wealthy country, however, not to the economic levels of The Nation of Odbory.
