Mabram Banos

Last Reminants

Mabram Banos was once the prime power in the southern Korba region, being the only orc-leading kingdom to rise to country status. An extremely militaristic and defensible country, Mabram Banos was once one of the physically strongest kingdoms known in Ipeiros. Mabram Banos didn't, however, expand beyond the borders of fellow countries, preferring more diplomatic approaches to neighbors. However, when the rule of Pamudurth rose in Sarkony, dragons grew attracted to the region, and slowly more and more territory rose up under draconic rule. With this expansion of the draconic kingdoms, Mabram Banos was one of the most affected kingdoms it. Although the orcish kingdom fought harder than most, taking down four dragons, with one being of ancient status, they slowly lost their resources and army to the war until they were brought low. Without the help of metallic dragons and the Claws of Ierin, Mabram Banos would've been completely destroyed like the ancient Magocracy of Takuri to the north was.

A Bastion of Hope

Mabram Banos is the leading country to go against the draconic kingdoms. The region currently occupied hasn't lost ground in 53 years, and as such, the region has become incredibly defensive. Most territories gained, however, are quickly lost, with Mabram Banos only taking around a mile and a half of ground in 53 years. The battle has been slow, but with outside support, the battle in Mabram Banos's territory has been put to a near stalemate, with Banos taking more ground than it has looses. Not many goods come out of Mabram Banos as they normally are put forward towards the war effort, with mostly only grains being exported. Since the territory Mabram Banos currently occupies is somewhat fertile land, unlike the desert region they once occupied, the society has thrived in terms of food and economic growth. Should Mabram Banos succeed in regaining territory and driving back the Draconic Kingdoms, their military and economic might would rival that of the strongest countries on Ipeiros.
